This image was Commended in the Nature & Wildlife category of the 2016 Travel Photographer of the Year. The best photo of a leopard I have ever taken, and I'd argue that it is up there with the best ever, by anyone. This is Pula, a female leopard I came to know over several years while I lived at Mombo Camp in the Okavango Delta. On this particular morning, as she sat in a Kigelia tree, all the elements I could hope for came together in one glorious instant: the light, her pose and the dark foliage in the background.
